Attention all self conscious girls (and boys)

Stop: Putting yourself down whenever you look in the mirror, it just brings your self esteem down more. Instead: Think positive things whenever you see your reflection, my personal favourites are "Damn you're fine!" It may sound stupid, but it works and it's quite fun.

Stop: Telling your friends about how fat and unattractive you are, it pisses them off when you say, "Ugh I'm so fat." and then they say, "Girl watchu talkin' 'bout, you is fabulous" and then you say, "No I'm not/shut up/moody glare". So stop it. Instead: Take a damn compliment and then think about it when you go to sleep at night and think "______ is such a lovely person, I love her" and then send her a lovely text for her to see in the morning. And then realise that people don't give other people compliments for nothing, no one's forcing them.

Stop: Thinking you're ugly and/or fat. Instead: Do the above and also stop comparing yourself with everyone else, I can assure you that there is at least one person you know that thinks you are damn fine, and I'm sure of this because I think all of my friends are damn fine and I have a fair few friends, so you can't beat those odds.

If the above doesn't work (and it may take a little while) and you're still woefully unhappy with something about yourself, do something about. Eg. Unhappy with your skin - change your skincare regime, wear makeup if you want. Unhappy with your weight - eat healthier, exercise, etc. I know that's harder said than done, but if you're really unhappy then it'll be worth it. Don't feel pretty when you go out with friends - change your clothing style, there are so many styles out there that one of them is sure to flatter you. Even just changing your hairstyle can change how your face looks.

Rant over.

I just slept for thirteen hours

I'm pretty sure that's the second longest amount of time that I've ever slept, the longest is that time when I was really sick and I went to bed at 6pm and got up at like 10am.

But the ridiculous thing is that I'm still really freaking tired and I can't tell if that's because of illness or being a teenager...Also I have a bruise on my leg that I'm pretty sure wasn't there yesterday.

I'm dying

I'm sick again. It sucks bollocks.

I was just thinking about how it only seems like I get sick during time that I'm at school and it makes sense really, when I'm on holidays, I rarely leave the house and therefore am not exposed to my germy school chums. Or maybe I just notice it less because I don't have to worry about deciding whether I'm ill enough to miss school and then how I will make up for the lost time...who knows, quite a conundrum.

Express Beauty with Honey from The Dispensary

Yo yo, guys, hittin' you up with a beauty review wut wut!

My brother's lovely girlfriend, Laura, bought me some face masks from The Dispensary while she was in Tasmania recently and I've been trying them out! I don't believe that they have a website...I've looked and have yet to find, so I'll get back to you on that.

I have so far tried the Express Beauty with Honey mask and I liked it very much, though it was a little bit odd. It has an unexpected texture and smell, it's whitish and kind of shampoo or conditioner consistency and also smells kind of like conditioner, so half way through putting it on my face I had to go back to the packet and check that it was indeed a face mask and not for hair.

It has a ton of natural ingredients and not too many chemically ones, so that's good. This one is supposed to be more moisturising and repairing than exfoliating or anything, so I tried it first, what with the whole sensitive skin issue. And alas it didn't irritate my skin!

So far so good, Laura also got me the pomegranate one, so I'm excited to try that too.

Why do they keep doing this to me? Do they want me to never sleep again?

Just started school this week and I have not been sleeping very well at all, they keep springing things on me that freak me out, first day back, real first day back (first first day back was only year 12s and 8s), have to wear "full formal uniform" to assembly (it's so hot) and I have to go on assembly and get an oily cross on my forehead and a little badge thingy! Why do they torment me so?!

I hate you, new computer!

I got a new Macbook for Christmas as my old one was getting quite well...old, and this new one is ridiculous! I'm trying to set up drop box, so I'm trying to open the document that I keep my passwords in (safe, I know), but it doesn't recognise it as a word document, so it just tells me that and nothing else. You stupid thing!

Glah! I hate it.
